For me, a community is a group of people who care for one another and feel like they together.

In this capitalist society, a lot of people want this but the constant “trade up” attitude makes it difficult to find and sustain. Quality relationships can come from them too. I’ve been a part of two. They were glorious, while they lasted.

Intense cohabitation of romantic relationships/marriage and children turns people away from community — and quality friendships.
